Nectar Monitor

The Nectar Monitor is an open-source pH, conductivity and temperature probe development board powered by an ESP32 and easily programmable and customizable through Arduino IDE. Designed for accuracy, stability and affordability the Nectar Monitor is loaded with features typically found in high-end pH and conductivity monitors.

Geared towards beginners, enthusiasts and professionals alike, you can easily use the Nectar Monitor right out of the box with the included firmware to read and monitor pH, conductivity and temperature in real time over your local Wi-Fi connection. Alternatively, you can quickly tap into one of the hardware(i2c & UART) or software APIs to tie into larger custom hydroponic automation or water analysis projects.

A few of of the key features of Nectar Monitor include its Universal Probe Compatibility, allowing the use of nearly any off-the-shelf BNC pH and conductivity probe. Both the pH and conductivity probe circuitry are electrically isolated and designed for continuous submersion and 24/7 readings, while minimizing wear and tear on the probes. Its simple, fast, and open calibration sequence can automatically detect standard calibration solutions for quick calibration with the push of a button.

The circuit board fits into a standard Polycase LP-61 project box or 3d print your own and includes button and display pin connections so you can quickly and easily assemble your own pH, conductivity and temperature monitor at a fraction of the cost. Alternatively, with fully accessible hardware schematics and source code, and easy-to-integrate i2c, UART or websocket APIs, our platform empowers users to innovate and customize their own water analysis and hydroponic automation projects.

Nectar Display Hat

The optional Nectar Display Hat is designed to easily connect to the Nectar Monitor through the main pin header and includes 3 displays for pH, conductivity and temperature as well as status LEDs for the display scale, calibration state, ATC and device status. It also includes easy-to-use on-board buttons and solder pads to connect waterproof, tactile buttons flush to a faceplate.
